Sustainability and energy efficiency has been one of the main factors guiding the design and construction of the Blind Shady house. From using fly ash in the foundation's concrete to the long lived corten roofing made of recycled steel on top, every aspect of the house's construction has been done with an eye toward keeping the earth green.
Throughout the building of the house we have tried to document everything that has gone into making the finely crafted house that it is today. Here you will find it in all of its stages of developement and get a sense of the workmanship that this small crew has put into it.
